Oh wow. And I mean oh wow.

And I really mean oh fokken wow.

Wow.

Thank you so much Blogger!

There are no words.

For now.

Since it's 5AM and I'm gearing up to go to the airport in Funland in order to embark on a yet another epic journey into the heart of the outskirts of Africa that will take me through Stockholm (who wouldn't want to), Copenhagen (12 hours - Thanks for that hubby), and Zurich (they better have a Starbucks). If they let me on board that is. In Finland you should not smile like a loon at 5AM. Or at all. Because it's Finland.

Here I came Jo'burg. And I am feeling good.

I thought I'd tell you that I really like the photograph of the giraffe you're using as your banner while I'm stopping by. Nice blog and congrats on making Blogs of Note.

You so deserve to be a BoN... you've always been a BoN to me, and that's not just the wine talking. I would totally write that even if I were sober right now.

Congratulations on Blog of Note. Your new journey sounds wonderful! Have a fabulous time.

Congrats on Blog of Note, I would think your were wonderful even if I were sober too. Vodka perspective is very clear and precise however. ♥

Well done being a blog of note. Which note? :)

Did they tell you beforehand, btw?

Oh, I knew I had good taste. Glad Blogger does too :)

So well earned. Time for more wine, never enough excuses for wine!

What was that you were telling me about Karma? BoN. Very cool. Congrats!

GÜSS is speechless. That shows how totally amazing this is!

wv: djawsis: the condition in which one's jaw is stuck open from being totally struck with awe and happiness. Usage: The news of your BoN gave me djawsis. I've read the only cure is champagne...

I have actually stumbled upon your blog before and found it really entertaining. Thanks you for the great stories and the glimpse into your life, which is so different than mine, which I love.

Take care!

whatever happened to people being mentioned in a blog of note and not thanking?

i thought this was a blog about a person not having direction, based on the title, blah...false advertisement

Good for you! :)
The smiling part sounds exactly like Estonia. I went to the marketplace today to boy these wonderful pastries from an Armenian lady and a guy who must have been her brother, told me I'm a beautiful girl. You don't do that in Estonia, by no means. That's why it made my day :)
So go on and smile as much as you want!

Congrats you!
And welcome home. Africa awaits you with open arms. And probably some freezing weather. And maybe some chancers.
And probably a few hadeda's, and some lovely Joburg sunsets. And some balmy winter days.
And definitely with lots of smiles

OMG! You made Blog of Note!!! That's fokken amazing!!! Congrats! Though I'm sure that now with the zillion readers you'll have that you won't have as much time to reply to us in the comments. I might miss that part. If you keep replying to us mini-bloggers, you'll never get that novel finished.

I look forward to each and everyone of your posts. You deserve the recognition.

P.S. Look for my all things Finnish posting coming soon. It was partially inspired by you! XO

YAY FOR MY (sorta) SISTER! She rocks, and is cool and is so extremely worthy of this award. And if she ever gets out of the CPH airport and does not have to live forever at SB, you will all see why!

I decided to check out the Blogs of Note, and found your enticing title. Followed it. Found the giraffe. Signed on to follow your blog. It will take me a while to catch up:)- but I'm becoming so addicted to blogging that this shouldn't be a problem. My novel? ah yes...my novel. That's another story.
